I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 2008.

How long have you been doing Pilates?

I started training while getting my doctoral degree at Polestar Pilates in 2006. 

Why do you love Pilates?

I’ve been running since 14 years old and my old bones have been working overtime. I run, cycle and dabble with triathlons for fun. Pilates is my key to strengthening my “power house” so I can continue to do what I love. Which is if you haven’t guessed yet: EXERCISE.   

What’s your powerhouse?

Your pelvic floor + core = power house. 

Best experience as a physical therapist?

Traveling on tour with the Broadway show “Wicked” as their physical therapist. 

Strongest traits about me:

Determination, motivation and accountability I have for myself.

Weakest:

I get very hangry when I’m hungry. 

Love:

Family is always #1. Exercise, SUMMER, beaches, and food.

Dislike:

Bugs. So, no, I don’t like camping or anything like that.
